Your child is important to us. Children are a high priority at Hillside Baptist Church. We consider their safety and Christian education to be extremely important.

The children’s programs at Hillside are led by enthusiastic volunteers dedicated to teaching your children about God’s love.

Nursery
The nursery department at Hillside provides a clean, safe environment for your child. Loving childcare is offered during all services to allow you the freedom to worship without worries.

Every child is given special attention and care. And parents are given a pager so that the staff may contact you if any need arises. You can rest assured that your child’s needs will be met while in our care.

Preschool Ages
“Jesus loves YOU” is one of the most exciting things a preschooler can begin to understand. Our preschool instructors are committed to helping you build a strong Christian foundation from which your child can grow. Every Sunday, they teach a basic Bible story and spend time on crafts and activities designed to reinforce the lesson.

AWANA
We are excited to offer AWANA on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 pm for ages 2 years to 6th grade. The primary goal of AWANA is to reach kids with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Each AWANA Club meeting consists of 2 sessions:

1. Handbook Time — which emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Scriptures and offers rewards as the children progress.
2. Council Time — when the clubs gather to share in a Bible message, singing, and planning for upcoming events.
