Get your kids involved in quality Christian programs. We consider their Christian education to be extremely important. We want to see every child grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The children’s programs at Hillside are led by enthusiastic volunteers dedicated to teaching your children about God’s love.

Sunday School
In addition to Bible study, your child is encouraged to expand their Bible skills, memorize scripture, and express creativity through crafts, music, skits, and more.

Children’s Church
Many of the people who lead our children’s church are actually teachers by profession! They have both the passion and knowledge to be able to help your child develop a sense of respect for God’s house and prepare them for eventually becoming a part of the adult worship service.

AWANA
We are excited to offer AWANA on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 pm for ages 2 years to 6th grade. The primary goal of AWANA is to reach kids with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Each AWANA Club meeting consists of 2 sessions:

Handbook Time — which emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Scriptures and offers rewards as the children progress.

Council Time — when the clubs gather to share in a Bible message, singing, and planning for upcoming events.
