Dr. Bruce Ford is currently the Director of Missions for the Central Association of Southern Baptists. He is in his 29th year of service in the ministry, 16 of those years serving as a Senior Pastor. While serving as Senior Pastor, Dr. Ford has been directly involved in planting 11 mission churches. Hillside Baptist Church is blessed to have him serving as our Interim Pastor.

Joe has been an active member of Hillside Baptist Church since its inception in 1985. Upon retiring from Bull Honeywell, Joe officially joined the Hillside staff in an administrative position.

Preston has been involved with youth ministries for over five years, and has been a member of a Contemporary Worship band for more than six. He has also been an active participant with the Christian Club at Arizona State University working with University students for more than four years. Preston loves working with students and young adults in helping them as they grow in their relationship with God. He is a 2011 graduate from ASU with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

With a background in private practice family counseling, Don has extensive knowledge and experience in marital, adolescent, bereavement and individual counseling. As an Adjust Professor at Phoenix College, Don taught courses in Child Development, Human Development, Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting, as well as Community Information and Referral. For five years, Don served with the Department of Economic Security, Division of Youth and Family. Don is also an ordained Minister of the Gospel and has served churches as a Pastor as well as a Minister of Music.

In 1995, Jim moved from Washington, DC, to be a church planter for the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention. They started SonRise Community Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, with 25 people, and in 12 years the congregation grew to 700. Jim has pastored eight churches in the USA and four churches in England. He has served as Interim Pastor to four churches in Texas and Ohio. He has led more than 40 revivals in five different states. He also served as Regional BSU Director at Ohio State University, Ohio University and 27 southeastern Ohio campuses.
